FoW Armor type Preferences?
I'm getting ready to head to the Forgemaster to get FoW armor for my Ele. I've been looking at the Wiki page to see the type I want and I can't seem to make up my mind. It's down to Battlemage and Archmage.
Check it... http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Fissure_Elementalist_Armor
Archmage is breaks down like this...
Archmages's Armor
+35 hp.
Robes +15 hp,
Leggings +10hp,
Gloves +5hp,
Shoes +5hp
Battlemage breaks down like this...
Battlemage's Armor
+10 AL vs. physical damage
per piece.
So basically with Archmage I get an additional 35Hp...(meh), is that all that much...hmm kinda...but...<shrug>... and with Battle I get +10 AL vs Phys Dmg...here's the rub...each piece? is that stacking for a total of +40 or just +10 AL ....?
Anyway, love to hear from anyone who knows,or wants to add their input to this, I dig the Wiki, but I'm a little hesitant to trust that (per piece) statment on the Battlemage Armor..
TIA

I personally like Tempest armor the best as will attunements and Aura the AL bonus is almost constant.

Well I went Battlamage (I got mixed up with Tempest and Battlemage abit )
It works well enough against physical dmg, brings it down quite a bit! To compensate I put Warding wrap on my one staff for elemental damage. Also if I know the area I am going to is a little heavy on elemantal damage, I take the ward with me. Has boosted my likelyhood of survival a bit
I think it would be a good idea to test the armour attributes that you want buy buying the 1.5k variant before getting FoW armour. That way you know what you will expect.
Also when dyeing your FoW armour, Red and black mixed together gives it a nice dark red look I'll post a screenie if you want to see it.

Yea, the more I think about it, that more I'm leaning that way...so is it +40 or just +10 then? I'm still confused...

You should check the guide section and read up about the game mechanics guide on the armor section. It should help you greatly, if you haven't read it before.

Sorry for the long delay, kept on forgetting to put the pics up.
This is my Battlemage FoW armour which I dyed with the Black and Red mix.
Standard red looks good, but is a bit on the vibrant side for me, this looked so much better. Quality isn't quite as nice as I would want it though (my laptop needs a better GFX card for this )
